Valour is an open-source community chat platform for people who want Discord's shape — servers, channels, roles and voice — without handing their community's data to a closed, ad-driven company. It's fully self-hostable, so a community can run its own instance end to end.
It's built in C# with Blazor, an unusual and interesting choice for a real-time chat app, and it's licensed AGPL-3.0. It's a younger, smaller project than the big open chat platforms, but a genuinely open option for communities that want to own their space.
