MIF II, founded in 2015 by Schiphol, KLM, TU Delft, NS, and Port of Amsterdam in collaboration with @NBI Investors, represents a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating entrepreneurial ventures. Combining Venture Capital funding with the specialized expertise and expansive global network of its founding partners, MIF II supports innovative initiatives in Logistics, Transport, and Innovation. Building on the success of Mainport Innovation Fund I, which closed in 2015 after ten impactful investments, MIF II focuses on advancing sustainable infrastructure, connectivity, mobility solutions, intermodal transport, energy innovations, digitization, IoT applications, security and safety enhancements, seamless travel experiences, and big data analytics. By nurturing pioneering technologies and business models, MIF II aims to drive transformative change and shape the future of these critical sectors.
